What is the Virtual Darts League (VDL)?

The Virtual Darts League is the premier online competitive darts ecosystem featuring over 400 active players across 40 Main League Divisions (Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze) and 49 Total Competitions including our Ally Pally Cup and specialty Fun Leagues.

Each league consists of 10 players of equal ability playing 1 match per week. You arrange a convenient time with your opponent on Discord, hop onto the DartCounter app with webcams on, and compete in official SIDO/DIDO 501 matchplay.

4 Simple Steps to Get Started

1

Join Our Official Discord Community

All VDL match arrangements, official announcements, score reporting, and captain support happen inside our active 2,000+ member Discord server.

💡 Tip: Head over to the #welcome or #new-player-registration channels once joined.
2

Submit Your DartCounter Average

To ensure close, competitive matches, the VDL is strictly average-based across four competitive bands (Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze). New players are placed based on their verified DartCounter 3-dart average.

💡 Tip: Share your DartCounter username and recent monthly stats in the registration channel.
3

Pass Your Board Camera Check

Every player must have a clear camera feed pointing at their dartboard to ensure fair play. Position your camera around bullseye height (approx. 1 metre away) with good lighting.

💡 Tip: Post a sample photo or video in your division's #cam-check room for admin verification.
4

Link Your Discord & Start Competing

Use the !linkvdl command in your game planning room to connect your profile, schedule your weekly fixture with your opponent, and throw your first match darts!

💡 Tip: Games must be completed by 10:00pm on Sunday each game week.
